Description

Looking at the tests in /spring-boot-gradle-plugin/src/test/resources/org/springframework/boot/gradle/tasks/bundling we have several that pull in old dependencies. We should probably try to align versions with the main build.

Research direction

Start by inspecting the tests and dependency declarations under /spring-boot-gradle-plugin/src/test/resources/org/springframework/boot/gradle/tasks/bundling, then compare their versions with those used by the main build. Identify each outdated dependency and align the test resources with the main build; done means the relevant tests use matching versions and still pass.
