Description

It's very useful, but the maintainers of jgit have expressed willingness to get first-class support for CodeCommit in jgit (in this ticket) and I was wondering if you would consider submitting it upstream there for broader adoption. Or whether you'd be opposed to someone else submitting it upstream on your behalf.

Research direction

The issue names AwsCodeCommitCredentialProvider and links JGit ticket 472415; start by reading that ticket and reviewing the provider discussed in this issue. Done means deciding whether to submit the provider to JGit for first-class CodeCommit support, or documenting that another contributor may submit it on its behalf.
