Description
Currently this installs to whatever directory I happen to be in, which is a little surprising.
I'm actually not sure what the best alternative is here. Heroku's equivalent install.sh requires sudo and installs to /usr/local/bin, bailing out if that dir isn't in PATH.

Research direction
Start by reading install.sh and comparing its current installation behavior with the Heroku equivalent mentioned in the issue. Decide on a documented installation location and handling for PATH or permissions; the work is done when the installer no longer depends on the caller's current directory and its behavior is verified.
