Description

Seeing that the following page specifies that WASI is not supported yet, but however there seem to be active community projects that provide a WASI executor for Dart that supports Dart and even Flutter.

I must confess that I do not have a really good mental model of how WASI works. Does the documentation only mention a language has an implementation for the WASI spec which is provided natively? Or do third-party implementations count?

Research direction

Read the linked WASI support page and inspect the referenced Dart example at packages/wasm_run/example/lib/wasi_test.dart. Determine whether the documentation counts third-party WASI implementations, then clarify that policy and update the relevant support information if a documentation change is agreed.
