Research direction
Reproduce the issue with Spotify for Windows 1.3.1.223.g6311b0a4 and Spicetify v2.45.1, then trace the custom playbar button and lyrics-plus integration entry points in the JavaScript code. Done means custom playbar buttons have no unintended solid background and lyrics-plus replaces the vanilla lyrics button without a theme installed.
