Start with electrum/gui/qt/network_dialog.py, especially NodesListWidget.update and the on_event_network_updated callback shown in the traceback. Trace the widget lifecycle and network-update callbacks, then reproduce the reported scenario if possible. Done means network updates no longer raise RuntimeError after the widget has been deleted.
