Custom "USD Value" in History Tab is not stored

Description
Prior to the 4.x release, I had a wallet with set USD Values inputted for each incoming transaction. After updating, those custom values had been reset to the default values (that I think are determined using the rate provider set in Preferences > Fiat ?). Not a huge deal, didn't have too many transactions, so I just updated them back.
However I noticed that the next time I opened the wallet, the values had been lost again. This time, paying closer attention, I noticed the values were resetting at a pretty quick pace (every minute or two). I keep losing those custom values I enter.
Shot in the dark, but I'm guessing it's happening every time it refreshes the rates from the provider?

Research direction
