Description

I have a Raspberri Pi with Electrum installed (purchased approximately 10 months ago and the latest version at that time was installed). It is kept 'offline' and connected to the internet on rare occasions to ensure the correct balance is reflected. I use a 'watching only' version on my main PC to receive BTC. It currently reflects an accurate balance. When I connected the Raspberry today, and connected to the internet, it showed an entry for the last three inbound transactions however the balance didn't increase. I disconnected the Raspberry and when I reconnect it, I I get is the 4 Rasberry icons in the top left corner and a screen full of text (code I assume) and nothing else. It seems to be stuck on this text. I cannot see a curser and the keyboard performs no operations. Am I best trying to perform a recovery using the 12 word seed or does this sound like a known issue?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Raspberry Pi Electrum startup failure after reconnecting the device, while checking the reported mismatch between inbound transactions and balance. No file or test is identified in the report; done means determining whether the frozen text screen and balance issue share a cause and documenting or fixing the failure.
