Description
This is for version 3.2.2 running on linux.
I noticed that a change address was reused, this was making two close payments where the first one had only had one confirmation. If I go to the details on the change address it shows +anAmount twice. I have the option selected in preferences "Use multiple change addresses" if that makes debug easier.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reused change address behavior described for Electrum 3.2.2 on Linux, with “Use multiple change addresses” enabled. Compare two close payments and inspect the change-address details to confirm whether the amount is displayed twice; the issue names no files or tests, so the relevant wallet entry point must be located before defining a fix.
