Description

Hi, I discovered this project past weekend, and I only can say, it is awesome. I started to use it immediatelyusing my personal computer as host, but I wondering about using my raspberry pi 5, running Home Assistant OS as host for Spacebot.

HAOS (Home Asssitant OS) allows to install addons, which are basically docker containers.

So I wrote an addon to make simple to install it in home assistant, and which exposes the data folder to HA to allow it to backup those files (config, agents files, etc)

This is the result
https://github.com/sergiocarracedo/spacebot-ha-addon

Maybe it can be useful for other users like me

If you think this can be useful as well for the project I will be happy to help and give you the owership of this simple repo

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked spacebot-ha-addon repository and the Home Assistant OS addon approach described in the issue. Determine whether the project wants to adopt or reference that addon, and consider the addon integration and data-folder backup behavior done when the ownership or integration path is agreed.
