Description

I enjoy this list but I've noticed many of the linked projects are dead/deprecated/read-only.

I have an idea to write a script to automatically inspect the links and remove any repos that are:

  • less than X github stars
  • marked as read-only
  • marked as deprecated ("deprecated" might need some human or AI reading of their project's README)

Before I got started, just wanted to see if this would be something welcome (or rather, if the output of such a script would be welcome).

Research direction

Start by reviewing the linked projects in the awesome-javascript list and the proposed checks for stars, read-only status, and deprecation. The issue does not identify a script location, implementation language, thresholds, or an agreed outcome, so completion criteria would need to be decided before work begins.
