Description

The LDP specification provides an optional (MAY) mechanism for optimizing how the content of LDP-RSs is generated by using the Prefer header. Is support for this feature optional under Solid (and therefore not necessary to mention in this specification) or should support for this be recommended (SHOULD) or required (MUST)?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the LDP sections linked in the issue, especially the Prefer header parameters and the client hint mechanism, then compare them with the current Solid specification. Done means resolving whether support is optional, recommended, or required and recording that decision in the specification; no file or test is identified in the issue.
