Description

Right now, we simulate each fish on each frame, but we could simulate them in a fixed time-step, and instead of doing nothing between simulations, we could chunk up the fish array and simulate a small section each frame until we either run out of fish to simulate (most likely), or get to the next frame.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the 3D Fish example and its per-frame simulation entry point, then trace how the fish array is updated. Done means simulation work is distributed across frames using a fixed time-step, with interpolation between updates and no unnecessary idle work.
