Description

Possible solution: save the lock in localStorage.

Research direction
No files or tests are named. Start by reproducing tracker activity in two browser tabs and inspecting how the per-tab lock interacts with shared localStorage; done means the cross-tab duplicate-event behavior is established and the chosen locking behavior is covered by tests.
