Research direction

The report concerns reading unsynchronized.srt with ffsubsync 0.4.8 on Windows 10 and Python 3.8.3, but names no command, path, source file, or test. Reproduce the failure with the same environment while capturing the invocation and full error output; done means identifying the read failure and documenting a verified resolution.
