Any RTMPS API Support?

Description
I'd like to place these cameras be able to communicate over the public internet using RTMP. Is there any support on the horizon? I don't see any reference/clues in neither the PY nor C++ repos.
Alternatively, I've used stunnel on other *Nix reliably but it's not readily available for the MaixCam Linux OS.
Hoping for a path of least resistance, or ever a better place to post the question?
