Feature
Hey, I'm starting a new issue, because #444 led in the wrong direction.
Aim: User A and User B chat with each other on multiple devices. e.g. PC, Smartphone, Tablet
Current Workaround: Create a Group-Chat with all devices in it.
My Idea: Make that a feature!!
- Add devices to your Profil as "own Devices" - that makes it a Multi-Device-Profile
- When creating a Chat its automatically a group chat and all your devices will be added to it
- Chat UI is adjusted so all messages from your devices look like your message (appearing on right side)
- when opening a chat send a read status to your other devices
Additional:
- this has the benefit of having a back up on your other devices.
- security concerns: It will be easy to overlook an unknown device in a chat. Also this device can run some commands like creating a chat, mark messages read .....
Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reviewing the discussion on #5518 and the prior issue #444, then map the proposed device linking, chat creation, message presentation, and read-status behavior across supported clients. Done would require an agreed design that addresses the listed security concerns.
