Description

--functions was added in:

  • #471

It would be useful if the r.jsonsplit() and similar recipes for sqlite-utils convert could be used in these blocks of code too: https://sqlite-utils.datasette.io/en/stable/cli.html#sqlite-utils-convert-recipes

Research direction

Start with the sqlite-utils --functions entry point and the sqlite-utils convert recipes documented in the linked CLI section. Trace how r.jsonsplit() and similar recipes are exposed to convert, then verify that the same recipes work in the --functions blocks and update the relevant tests or documentation mentioned by the implementation.
