Description
It should be trivial to do something like this in a Jupyter notebook:
%pip install dclient
from dclient import RemoteDatabase
db = RemoteDatabase("https://simon.datasette.cloud/data", token="...")
db.insert_dataframe(df, table="my_dataframe")
API design still very much open to ideas.

Research direction
Start with the proposed RemoteDatabase entry point and the insert_dataframe operation shown in the Jupyter example. Review the intended %pip install dclient workflow and the Datasette URL/token usage before settling the API design. Done means a usable Python client supports the demonstrated dataframe insertion flow, with the interface and behavior agreed.
