Description

This tool appears to only allow working on main branch, but the repo I want to run it on has no main or master branch.

Could it get the currently active one instead, using git rev-parse --abbrev-ref HEAD or something like that?

Research direction

Start by locating where the tool selects the main or master branch, then review the requested git rev-parse --abbrev-ref HEAD behavior. Done means the tool works in repositories whose active branch has another name, while preserving its existing behavior for main and master.
