Description

In the attached example, which is pretty much the bare default BSB with a ToC, there are full stops (or single leader marks) after LUK, JHN and ACT but not the other books. The 'correct' version would not have those dots, I would think.

Some of the other leaders look okay, but the final one (solid underline) has the same (?) issue.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the table-of-contents output from BSB-DefaultPTXprintArchive-toc3_spacing.zip and inspect the XeTeX/ToC formatting path that places leader marks after LUK, JHN, and ACT. Compare those entries with the other books and the final solid underline; done means the unintended dots or marks no longer appear and intended leaders remain correct.
