Description

Describe the feature

The home page is currently somewhat confusing.

  • But there's redundancy between cloud and local projects, which are sometimes the same, yet look different.
  • And the differentiation between classic vs lite projects seems too subtle considering they are very different workflows and it's quite important for a user to understand the differences (and for us to be able to explain them). Thus, this is related to #1766.

Who is this feature for?
Users and Project managers who need to find the correct workflow for their project and team without being confused by the 2 project types and redundant listings.

Ideas

  • Repurpose local to recent
  • Determine where "orphaned"/example project lives

Research direction

Start with the Home page and read the related issue #1766. Inventory how cloud versus local projects and classic versus lite projects are currently presented; done requires an agreed home-page structure that makes the workflows and project listings understandable without redundancy.
