Description
Describe the bug
For various reasons (e.g. internet connectivity, authentication issues - maybe dev-only) we might not be able to fetch projects from a Lexbox instance. Currently we log an error and return an empty list.
Expected behavior
If something went wrong, e.g. there's an authentication problem, the user shouldn't be mislead into thinking that there are no projects.

Research direction
No file or test is named. Locate the code that fetches projects from a Lexbox instance and handles fetch failures, then trace how the empty result reaches the user; done means connectivity or authentication failures are distinguishable from a genuinely empty project list.
