Description
Describe the feature
right now to change the language of the site you need to be logged in, go to your user profile page, change the language and save your profile. It should be much easier to change the language.
If we take facebook as an example:
you can see at the bottom of the page, many languages to select along with a button to chose from a bigger list. We could do something like that on our login page, then for all other pages we could put an icon in the footer to change language.
Who is this feature for?
All users, especially non English speakers.
Pages affected
Login page, and footer.

Research direction
Start by inspecting the login page and the shared footer, which are the stated affected areas. Determine how language selection currently works from the profile flow, then define the accessible selectors and broader language list; done means users can change language from the login page and from other pages without editing their profile.
