Bug description
The "Stay connected in background" off setting is ignored and it always turns on itself.
Steps to reproduce:
- start the Signal app
- turn off Stay connected in settings
- force stop Signal app
- start Signal again
- put Signal in background
You then get a notification about Signal keeping connection.
Edit:
Block connections to firebaseinstallations.googleapis.com to force the issue.
The adblocker list GoodByeAds blocks it, so maybe others may have the issue without knowing the cause.
