Bug description
The user can pin a chat to their launcher.
To do so, they have two options:
- Signal-App:
Open Chat > Three-Dot-Menu > "Add to Homescreen/Launcher" (Not sure, my app is in german)
- From Homescreen:
Long-Press the signal app-icon>Preview-List of Dynamic shortcuts
Only 1 generates a "good" pinned shortcut. Both work, but only the in-app-shortcut has a nice looking thumbnail. The one created via dynamic shortcuts has a white border which crops the actual image.

Research direction
Reproduce the two pinning paths on a Pixel 7 running Android 16 with Signal 8.7.3: add the chat from the in-app menu and from the launcher's dynamic-shortcut list. Compare the generated thumbnails; done means both pinned shortcuts display the chat image without the white border or cropping shown in the screenshot.
