Bug description
As of this closed issue: Signal Call Audio (mic) cuts out when Signal is in the background/viewing other apps, when I'm having a call with Signal (7.65.4) using my Fairphone 3+ under LOS+MicroG (22.2-20251106) and the screen turns off, the microphone turns off too.
When I then turn on the screen back, the microphone turns on too.

Research direction
No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the call on a Fairphone 3+ running LineageOS 22.2 with Signal 7.65.4, then compare the behavior with issue 13656 and trace Signal's call-audio handling when the screen turns off. Done means the microphone remains active while the call continues with the screen off.
