App doesn't remember viewfinder zoom level when recording videos

Bug description
On all apps I use I can zoom in (viewfinder) and then tap and hold the record button to record a video in the zoom level I've set
Signal on the other hand resets the zoom level the second you tap and hold
Just taking a picture respects your zoom level. Therefore I think it's a bug
Steps to reproduce
- zoom in during viewfinder
- tap and hold shutter button
Actual result:
Zoom level is reset
