Description
Hi,
I am getting
code: 'ER_PARSE_ERROR',
errno: 1064,
while trying to use manual prepared statement with a connection that enables namedPlaceHolders. Thoughts?

Research direction
Start with the linked documentation/Prepared-Statements.md and reproduce the reported ER_PARSE_ERROR using a connection with namedPlaceHolders and a manual prepared statement. Identify the relevant implementation entry point from that usage, then verify that named placeholders work with manual prepared statements without the parse error.
