## Overview
PR [#8900](https://github.com/shopware/shopware/pull/8900) introduces a breaking change by removing the component `cart-alerts`.
According to internal tooling, this change impacts 12% of customers. As part of the lead up work for 6.8 we wish to revisit this change and determine if improvements can be done to the change (again from the point of view of stability). In this particular case we should consider keeping the component so as to not force a code-level breakage.
