Description

We've gotten some community feedback that some riders would like to have more info in ride listings. This would help them feel more informed and more comfortable, especially when historically under-represented folks might find themselves in an unfamiliar and potentially unwelcoming space.

Some of the requests are:

  • Is this ride a loop? (yes/no) If no, what's the end location?
  • Will there be stops along the way? (yes/no) If yes, are they indoors or outdoors?
  • What's the pace of the ride? (easy, steady, strenuous, very fast, etc.)

There are sometimes good reasons not to include this info (e.g. mystery rides) so these would be optional but encouraged fields.

Also look into updating or adding to help docs like the Ride Leader Comic (/images/rideleadingcomiccolor.jpg) and the "Leading a social ride" page (/pages/lead-a-ride/).
