Description

Research direction

Compare the old sse branch with the current tokenizer implementation and identify which tokenization paths it optimized. Establish a benchmark for the current parser, then evaluate whether further tokenizer microoptimizations produce a measurable speedup. Done means a clearly justified optimization with benchmark results.
