Description

It looks like mapping PRs -> closed issues is determined by issue-parser. Doing a quick test on that, it is able to parse the slug for the repo containing the issue.

Contributor guide

No contributing guide indexed for this repository

First steps

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
  2. Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Start by examining how issue-parser maps pull requests to closed issues and how the plugin currently posts comments through GitHub. Confirm the expected behavior for an issue in a repository outside the current one. Done means the feature can identify and comment on those external issues, with coverage for the cross-repository case.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
