Research direction
Start in the Upload Model > Rigging workflow and reproduce the issue with the linked angel_rigged.zip model. Toggle “Include joint positions” and “Joint position overrides,” then compare the preview’s Z position with the model after uploading and wearing it in-world; done means the preview no longer gains the unintended offset.
Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
