Description

Toggling anisotropic filtering currently has no effect on objects other than terrain. See attached screenshots of it on (first) and off (second)

Image

Image

The tree, grass, and distant objects should be visibly blurrier when anisotropic filtering is disabled.

Reproduction steps
  1. Find a piece of terrain with non-terrain objects on it.
  2. View the terrain at an angle similar to the screenshots provided
  3. Toggle anisotropic filtering on and off

Research direction

No source file or test is identified. First reproduce the issue using the listed terrain, object, and viewing-angle steps, then trace the anisotropic-filtering setting through the viewer's rendering path. Done means toggling the setting makes non-terrain objects, including trees, grass, and distant objects, visibly blurrier when disabled.
