Description
Hi,
I like to script for Second Life. A lot of my background in programming comes from learning LSL and it has been a very useful tool for me.
Around 2020, I had a very bad set of circumstances that caused a rapid development of cataracts that left me with full blindness. It took me nearly half a year to have this rectified, during this time. I was physically incapable of using the platform due to a lack of screen-reader support.
Third-party viewer options (such as Radegast) were impossible to use and left me extremely confused while trying to use them with a screen reader.
It would be really nice if LL could offer accessibility features for visually impaired/blind users, starting with implementing screen reader support for their viewer. As even though I do have my sight back, I do still struggle with focus and sometimes do still use a screen reader to help.

Research direction
The issue requests screen-reader support for the viewer, specifically with JAWS, NVDA, and Windows Narrator, but names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by defining the viewer accessibility scope and supported behavior for these screen readers. Done should include an agreed implementation plan and verified support for the requested viewer interactions.
