Description
This might sound like a strange thing to do, but hear me out:
Newbies who land at the Welcome Hub don't know how to play Second Life. Many run around trying to figure out how to 'leave' the welcome hub and go somewhere interesting. They don't know how to access the wider world.
I recently had an experience in Roblox where as a new user I did not know how to leave the world I was in. frustrated, I went to quit the game. Unlike SL, Roblox presented not just quit/cancel, but also an option to leave the world.
Newbies who are pressing quit in SL are likely pressing quit for the same reason. They didn't really want to leave Second Life, they wanted to leave the area they are in. Putting a button to go somewhere else in the quit dialog would catch these users, like Roblox caught me, boosting retention on the platform.
It could simply when pressed open the destinations floater. This would give newbies somewhere else to go and help aid retention in those early days as they slowly go through the struggle of figuring out the UI.
