Description

I realize we could probably create a submodule on github to host things we don't want to be included in the secdev/scapy. For instance pcap files. (thinking of this looking at https://github.com/secdev/scapy/pull/3352)

@guedou What do you think? Is it worth the hassle?

Research direction

Start by reviewing PR #3352 and the repository's current handling of pcap files. Evaluate whether hosting them in a GitHub git submodule is worthwhile and define the expected repository layout and workflow; done means an agreed proposal or implementation plan.
