We already have spatialdata-io. Again, we have separate options: (provided we go for a single package #1).
- re-export functions of spatialdata-io under
scverse_io.spatial - Consider spatialdata-io separate, as it doesn't return AnnData or MuData, but SpatialData.
- Scverse-io could supersede Spatialdata-io
