Linux - AppImage - Error opening

I download the last version 24.2 to Linux with AppImage.
after decompress I try execute the file and the screen go Black and open 2 error windows:

Error:
Web cursor bitmap not found. This is most likely due to one of three reasons:
1) You're running FreeSpace Open from somewhere other than your FreeSpce 2 folder;
2) You've somehow corrupted your FreeSpce 2 installation, e.g. by modifying ow removing the retail VP files;
3) You haven't installed FreeSpace 2 at all.
