Description
Hi Scott,
Your mechanical–electrical integration on splitflap is some of the cleanest I've seen in an open-source project — the way the PCB, firmware, and 3D-printed mechanism click together as a single product (rather than a forum-thread Frankenstein) is what makes it actually adoptable. Same observation about smartknob's haptic-motor approach.
I'm Imrich, founder of Archimedes Market (archimedes.market), a verified marketplace for engineering IP — hardware reference designs, parametric CAD models, MCP servers, and reusable engineering tools. Every listing passes our Trust Engine: security scan, license detection, code quality scoring.
Wanted to flag a possible fit — not really a pitch. splitflap obviously stays open source. The angle that fits projects with your level of polish: a verified production-ready package (schematic + PCB + firmware + assembly guide as one tested bundle) for builders who'd rather buy the curated package than reassemble it from the repo. Same idea works for smartknob.
I realize at your level (1.7k followers, smartknob at 21.7k★) the commission rate isn't really the lever. The real value here is brand alignment — a verified, curated home for builds with your level of care, distinct from forum-scattered remixes.
If interesting:
- 0% commission for 6 months (Founding Engineer cohort, permanent badge)
- Trust Engine verification report public on every listing
- Visibility on archimedes.market's hardware section
If this resonates, happy to chat. If not, no worries — appreciate the work either way.
Best,
Imrich
