Extend superplot to allow normalizing data and offsetting it

Description
I'd like to extend or customize superplot to allow scaling the data in three ways: 1) add/subtract a number from the intensity (i.e. to subtract background), 2a) multiply by a number (to scale data to e.g. compare peak shape for data with different intensity) and 2b) Scale the data so its max is at 1 (after first subtracting).
