Description

A brief summary of our current understanding, based on discussion with @celinedurniak.

  1. DREAM will use He3 polarizers/analyzers.
  2. The workflow in ESSpolarization looks directly applicable.
  3. The ESSpolarization workflows requires the transmission fractions of the cells. DREAM has no transmission monitor, so Hal proposed to compute the transmission fraction as a ratio of vanadium measurements.
  4. Computing the transmission fraction should be implement in this package (not ESSpolarization), as it will require performing DREAM or powder specific reduction. @celinedurniak is taking charge of figuring out details for the computation to be performed.
