Description

IMO a guide should be added to scikit-hep.org, probably under developer. Maybe could be combined in an "extras" page that covers license, badges, etc?

Research direction

Locate the developer pages on scikit-hep.org and review how related topics such as licenses and badges are organized. Add guidance for a CITATION.cff template, either there or in an extras page, with the final page structure and content matching the site’s existing documentation.
