latest SMM not working on opensuse 15.5 or 15.6

The latest SMM does not load. Tried previous pre-V3 versions which work fine. but after the forced update by the SMM it will not launch again.
But on pre V3 versions i get the error message in the image, which is wrong because the path to the steam Satisfactory folder is correct.
I have tried on 3 PC's running opensuse 15.5 and 15.6. no luck.
So currently i cannot play the game with mods , and don't want to restart from scratch.

Reproduce the failure on openSUSE 15.5 or 15.6 with the AppImage, then trace startup and installation-path detection using the supplied SMM 3.0.5 log. Compare the failed symlink/path warnings and Webview2 invalid-window-handle error with a working pre-V3 build. Done means the latest SMM launches and recognizes the existing Satisfactory installation without requiring a new profile.
