Description

The current UI does not convey that installs that are not "selected" still remember what profile they had selected, and that changes to a profile modify all connected installs.

This can lead to confusing errors like this one: https://discord.com/channels/555424930502541343/1366099396860711026

Possibly a banner at the top, or showing multiple installs below the existing install picker?

Research direction

Start at the existing install picker in the UI and trace how selected and unselected installs are represented. Review how profile changes are propagated to connected installs, then clarify whether the intended result is a banner, additional install listings, or another indicator. Done means users can tell which installs share a profile and understand that profile changes affect all connected installs.
