Description

Discord apps can be used as both bots (added to servers) and utilities (usable anywhere the user has permission, or usable just to them, a la system message, anywhere)

Would allow mod and docs searches to be done on any server

Only works with slash commands and likely requires some serious reworking

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reviewing the existing Discord bot command structure and the constraints around Discord apps and slash commands; done would mean a decided implementation scope and a working plan for making mod and documentation searches available beyond server-added bots.
