Research direction

Start with the installation instructions linked in the repository description and determine how bcftools is currently built and distributed. Define the target Linux environments and the binary packaging approach before implementing it; done means a reproducible multilinux binary is available through the documented installation path.

Description

Many tools in bioinformatics provide a multilinux binary, which is a very convenient solution: very simple and reproducible installation, binaries are quite small anyway (and if they were big - network today is super-fast).

Can we have it for bcftools?
