Description

I've read that Gitlab now includes Gitlab GI as well, and I understand that I can register workers but I'm not sure whether I could create workers within the same container image that runs Gitlab.

Is there a possibility for this? Or am I supposed to create separate containers and link them together somehow using docker? Is there an existing image that does this?

Thanks in advance.

Research direction

No source file, test, or entry point is identified in the issue. Start by reviewing how the Docker image handles GitLab worker registration and how separate containers are connected; done means documenting a supported same-image setup or clearly explaining why separate containers are required.
