Description
Hello,
Last week i was using 15.10.0, and the merge request from a commit hash to a branch worked fine.
I upgrade this WE to 15.10.1 than to 15.10.2 respecting the migration monitoring to be terminated between the two migration.
Today, I tried to create a merge request from a commit or a tag but I get an error 👍
The form contains the following error:
You must select source and target branch

Research direction
Reproduce the merge-request form behavior on GitLab 15.10.2 using a commit or tag as the source and a branch as the target, comparing it with 15.10.0. Done means the form accepts the source commit or tag and no longer reports that a source and target branch must be selected.
